Mandatory Character Death
Predetermined Deaths
In horror films people die. A lot of people die. Not that many survive. In order to keep the tradition alive, characters who enter this game are entered into a lottery. Each player will choose a number for their character that governs whether or not they will survive the "Game Film" they are participating in. Of the alloted numbers
three numbers will dictate which three characters will survive the first "Game Film".
The results of the numbers will not be revealed to the players, but be kept a guarded secret by the Administrator until a "Game Film" has been completed. For more information on how the lottery system works, view this
thread. As the game progresses the characters who have the death numbers will be strategically killed off until only the three survivors remain and the "Game Film" ends. This allows the mandatory character deaths to take place without contest. Joining this RPG you consent to your character being placed into the lottery and will not contest their death, which can be
automatically posted by the antagonist when the time comes.
The deaths will not be straight forward or quickly done. A character marked for death can evade it numerous times before it finally happens. This is done to keep the mystery of who the final survivors will be running throughout the entire "Game Film".
The Sequels
Surviving characters MUST reprise their roles in the subsequent sequels. If for any reason a player ends up with a surviving character but drops out of the game, by joining this RPG they give their consent to have their character auditioned off to another player who wishes to take on the character upon their leave.
If you had a character in a completed "Game Film" and they were killed off, you are free to create a new character for the sequel without having to go through the audition process again.
Lottery numbers will be given out for the characters in sequels as well, this includes surviving characters. This is to give all characters, old and new, a fair opportunity to raise up and become the hero or heroine of the ongoing "Game Film".
