Getting Started

The first step is to register your Username under the Name of Your Character. That's the easy step (Unless for some reason you are required to submit a new character name). The second step is auditioning to become a member of the role-playing game.

Auditioning/Scoring

An audition will consist of three parts. A standard audition in which we examine your role-playing skills. A fighting scenario audition in which we examine how you react in battle/fighting role-playing scenarios. Lastly a questionnaire to be sure that you have read and understood all of the rules and regulations of The Hunted. You are required to submit all three parts at the same time.

A preview of how scoring for each part has been written out below:

Standard Audition - 10/10
-- Grammar = 3/3
-- Posting Format = 3/3
-- Originality = 4/4

Fighting Scenario - 6/6
-- Fighting Technique = 3/3
-- Creativity = 2/2
-- Meta-gaming = 1/1
(Missing this point is very crucial in determining your overall acceptance to the game. Be wise and revise before sending in the official audition.)

Questionnaire = 10/10
-- Ten questions
-- Each question = 1 point

Total Points = 26/26

In order to pass an audition and become an official member of the board your scores can be no lower than twenty-two out of a possible twenty-six points. Along with your scoring you will receive critiques on each division of the three sections. This should help those who do not pass their audition focus on areas they need to improve on before attempting to re-audition.

It should be noted that when you audition you start off with a perfect score. Each auditioning member begins with a score of 26/26 and based on how well you have done or did not do on your auditions/questionnaire your points will be deducted from your overall score to give you your finally scoring.

After your auditions/questionnaire have been received and reviewed you will receive a Private Message (PM) stating whether you have passed your audition or not. If you've passed, your user group will change from "Auditioning" to "Living" and then you will be free to create a character profile for your character before they join the game.

QUOTE (Sample Scoring...)

Standard Audition - 8/10
-- Grammar = 2/3
    Grammar is decent but you should watch out for minor spelling mistakes and be sure to end every sentence with the proper punctuation mark; (.) (?) (!) (...) .
  -- Posting Format = 3/3
    Posting format will used perfectly, no errors at all.
  -- Originality = 3/4
    The originality of your post really brings your character to life, and allows me to visualize the actions perfectly. Just be sure to showcase more inner thoughts to give your posts that extra kick!
  Fighting Scenario - 4/6
-- Fighting Technique  = 2/3
    The response of your character was standard, but remember to keep a realistic approach. If your character is physically smaller than their opponent they would not be able to lift them and throw them across the room.
  -- Creativity = 1/2
    A basic response. The second point could have been earned if you would have played around a bit instead of directly responding with just a simple spin kick and punch to the gut.
  -- Meta-gaming = 1/1
    No sense of god-modding or meta-gaming whatsoever. Automatic point.
  Questionnaire = 10/10
-- 10 correct

Total Points = 22/26

However it should be noted those who score lower than a 22 will be put on a temporary probation period because it will be evident that all though they have scored a good enough to score to pass their auditions, but they still will need to become more acquainted with the rules and posting system.
