Cortez León Greyback
Cortez León Greyback is the high school rebel, played by Diego Luna. While Diego Luna isn't well known for his American films, he has starred in such popular movies as Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights and The Terminal alongside Tom Hanks. This is his first appearance in trilogy, obviously starting with The Hunted.
Character History
Cortez Greyback grew up poor and with bad parents, to put it quite simply. He didn't have all the other things kids had, so it made him tougher and somewhat closed off. He grew up a couple towns away from where the rest of the cast lived, and met up with them in High School. His family moved to the area during the end of his Junior Year, a time when everyone was already friends with everyone. Cortez was the odd man out, but found a group of people in dating Rumer. He and Rumer met during one of their classes, and clicked almost instantly. They both have a rebellious streak, though Cortez's outweighs hers by a long shot. However, Rumer's friends that she met during freshmen year weren't all that accepting of her new boyfriend.
Throughout the rest of their year in school, Cortez began to get more and more annoyed with the people that Rumer hung out with. He loved Rumer, but her friends were really starting to drive him up the wall. So, what does he do? He becomes a prick to them. He naturally was a prick, of course, but he acted like a bigger one towards them now. Whenever Cortez would hang out with Rumer, he would prefer it to just be the two of them, but Rumer isn't one to pick her boyfriend over her friends. When the idea of the road trip came up, Cortez wasn't all that excited to say the least. Regardless, he decided to go for Rumer since she did want him there.
