Character Guidelines
Age & Number Limit
When thinking about joining the role-play world known as The Hunted, and with your very own "Principal Character" no less, please note two major aspects you must abide by before actually going through the process of being "cast" into the role-playing game.
Character Age Limit
No Original Character (OC) may be younger than the age of EIGHTEEN YEARS OLD or older than NINETEEN YEARS OLD. Not seventeen, twenty, younger or older. So therefore no character should be born before or after these dates; August 1, 1987 - March 24, 1989.
If you post saying your character was born before or after the aforementioned dates it will be altered by the admin. So please remember that the game is taking place during 2007 so when picking your character's age be sure to use the corresponding years. If a character is nineteen, use the following method;
2007 - 19 = 1988
Character Number Limit
A member's character limit is ONE. Members are only allowed one character/username to play and that's it, and there are no loopholes to this rule. Just like in a movie it is rare for a actor/actress to play more than one character unless they are portraying a set of identical twins. In this "Game Film" everyone plays but one role, no more. The only way to gain a new character is if your first character dies and you create one to participate in the subsequent sequel.
Character History
All character histories should be brief and only span between one and two paragraphs. No more. No less. Just like in movies we know little about the character's background until all is said and done in the film. Their profiles are simply used to give others a feel of your character and a brief explanation of their personality and the significant events that helped shape it.
Jumping Locations
Please, when your Original Character leaves one location and heads to another do not JUMP OVER certain threads to get to a desired location. Mainly what we mean by this is DO NOT AVOID FRONT ENTRANCES, especially if your character does not possess any type of "teleportation" power. All characters within the game are human and must behave accordingly, following the laws of physics.
For instance, when arriving at The Mansion do not by-pass The Grounds and Front Entrance threads to go directly to the Kitchen, Basement, etc. This is also for any new location/establishment your character is arriving to. Anyone caught disobeying this rule will receive warnings. Continuing to break or adhere to this rule (after 2 warnings) can lead to a temporary suspension from the board. In extreme cases, (out right defiance) you can even become banned from the RPG until further notice from the Admin.
