Courtney Marissa Adams is a high school senior who sets out on a road trip with friends. Not everything goes to plan though when their vehicle breaks down, resulting in deadly consequences. Portrayed by Kristen Bell, best known for her role in ‘Veronica Mars’ and the horror movie ‘Pulse’; Courtney has only yet appeared in the first instalment of the trilogy, The Hunted.
Character History
Courtney Adams grew up an only child, though being close friends with both Krysta Warren and Lucas Farrell from before she can even remember; it never felt that way to her. They were always out doing something, whether that was climbing trees, riding their bikes or just messing around didn’t matter; the three of them just loved spending time together. Even when she became a cheerleader and was expected to hang with the ‘popular’ crowd, she preferred to be with Lucas and Krysta. That didn’t please the rest of the squad, but Courtz couldn’t care less, the squad couldn’t kick her off for that.
This small circle of friends only expanded when they moved up into junior high, Courtney befriending Rumer Valentine, a girl she had previously never met. The two began spending more time together, often finding that they were in the same classes as one another, and they soon became close friends. She was the one that introduced Rumer to the little group, where she soon became a permanent fixture. However, the harmony of the group was broken when Rumer began dating the school bad boy – Cortez Greyback. Courtney immediately disliked him. From what she’d already heard about him and then from first meeting the guy, she realised that he was no good, not at all. She and her friends did all they could to get Rumer to see that he was just bad for her and dump him, but the brunette just wouldn’t listen.
